Matthew 11:28–30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
The world is hard on us Christians but God has promised us that if we come to him he will give us peace and rest. For God’s way of truth is easy and living his truth is freedom.
James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.
This is why daily we need to seek God with all of our hearts, why, because he will come close to us. This is important because if we do not seek God, he will not come to us in his power, in his peace, In his strength or with his joy. In our weakness he will not be our strength if we don’t seek him every morning and throughout the day. We need his presence in our lives to be what he intended to be that is representatives of his truth and we cannot do that without him.
