Deuteronomy 32:10 “He found him in a desert land, and in the howling waste of the wilderness; he encircled him, he cared for him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
God personally knows everything you are going through the pain, the struggles, and the heartaches. He see’s every tear that you shed and every callous willful act upon your tender heart. Nothing escapes his ever watchful eye. In the scripture verse above, “He found him in a desert land,” meaning that we do not have to come up to his level of holiness in order to be healed otherwise we would never have intimacy with Christ, rather he comes down to where we are, right where we live and touches you in the midst of your pain. In the midst of our pain he is always there and that fiery furnace that you always seemed to be going through, He will always meet you there. Take Shadrach, Meshach and Abedigo they refused to bow under someone else’s childish tempter tantrums of self worship, they stood up for what they believed in so refused to bow for anyone other than God and were thrown into a fiery furnace that was heated seven times more than usual. So here is the rest of the story. Here is your story of deliverance.
Daniel 3:2 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished and rose up in haste. He declared to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” 25 He answered and said, “But I see four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”
So, yes, God may not always take you out of the fiery furnace of life but you can always guarantee that He will always be there with you in the midst of it. Therein is the compassion of a loving God who deems us as the apple of His eye for He will always encircle you and care for you in your most trying moment. How reassuring is it that the God who holds the universe in the palm of his hand is always watching over you. In the midst of suffering comes healing like gold under the fire where all the impurities come floating to the surface where the master takes out the impurities leaving behind a precious child of pure gold to the point he sees His reflection. The impurities removed are the things that cause division within families and friends and ultimately against God. The people that are hurting unwittingly hurt other people for that is how they function. They create walls of protection to protect themselves from ever hurting again but in the process of self protection they make carbon copies of themselves within those they love. So the process continues from one generation to the next generation until one person in the family tree find Jesus and are willing to submit to His words of healing, then they break down the walls to love again and be healed. This next verse in Deuteronomy speaks volumes of God’s love for us.
Deuteronomy 32: 11 Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that flutters over its young, spreading out its wings, catching them, bearing them on its pinions,
In order for baby eagles to learn how to fly the mother eagle must throw them out of the nest, if they do not fly she spreads out her wings and catches her babies on her pinions which is her wings and bears them up to safety. This is an image of Christ in the midst of our fiery furnace in the very midst of our most trying hour Jesus bears us under his wings and goes through the fire with us to victory on the other side. Through the fire we become more like Jesus with every trial we go through, that is why Paul welcomed all tribulations and every trial for when he was weak Jesus bore him up to fill him with strength through His Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 32:12 the LORD alone guided him, no foreign god was with him.
God will always see and guide you through all your troubles through every trial you encounter. He will never leave you nor will he ever forsake you that is his promise. In the previous chapter He gives comfort to Israel as He gives that same comfort to you.
Deuteronomy 31: 8 It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
Keep the faith always grasp firmly onto hope unto eternal life never focus on your circumstance the secret to life is always looking ahead to eternity for looking onto eternity you make the right choices in the present.
Intimacy With Christ takes maintaining your walk with him.
