God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world. C. S. Lewis Sadly for us this is true. Nothing will drive us to our knees in order to hear from God than pain and suffering. Only then it appears that he has our full attention. We must seek the Lord with all our hearts, strive to hear his still voice and a determination to be obedient to what he says. Because once we start hearing him, next comes obedience which isn’t always easy, for the devil drops fear down upon you. Fear will always turn your heart away from God and believing in him. Fear says to us God’s word does not have the last say in our lives.
“And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.” Philippians 1:28 KJV
When we refuse to be afraid of our adversaries but full of faith in who God is and His word being true, it will be an evident token or proof to the demons impending doom where God has already determined in the Lake of Fire.
