Salvation By Grace

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV)

A Mere human cannot satisfy the price of sin for a holy God. It took a holy God that gave up part of himself in the form of His son Jesus with His blood paid the price of sin.  Talk about salvation by grace! We sinned in the Garden of Eden and yet God himself picks up the tab himself on our behalf. You will find no greater love than this anywhere. When Jesus paid the price in full he said it is finished the full price of sin has been paid. Therefore by faith in his death burial and resurrection we are saved through the grace of God. It’s not a result of anything we can ever do so we can never boast. By human effort we are severed from His grace.

You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. (Galatians 5:4) Whenever we use a human effort to produce a spiritual result we become severed from the grace of God. His grace brings heaven to earth in order for us to be fruitful.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. (‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭4-5‬ ESV)

After salvation comes another Faith our daily every day faith.

For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead. (James 2:26 ESV)

Once salvation takes place and we truly believe what Jesus did for us in full payment for our sins, comes repentance. Repent in the Greek means a change of heart or change of direction. At this point we must take God’s word over everything else as our true guideline for living. Making God’s word a priority over all things as pertaining to living is our basis for faith. We must truly believe that God is God. That Jesus has truly raised up from the grave, and He is the Son of God of the triune Godhead. Many Christians don’t fully believe this otherwise our faith would be unshaken, unmovable and firm. There would be souls saved daily in every church. Discipleship of new believers would be the norm in every city across the world. But unfortunately it is not because our faith is weak, our knowledge of God’s word is weak and we are not in tune to listen to that still small voice of God. We need to wake up, to be revived and on fire for God. We need to hunger and thirst for an intimate walk with Christ. True faith does not sit on a couch and wait for God to move them. Faith is always an action word always moving in obedience to God’s word. We always think we should repent before coming to salvation but we cannot live the life that God intended without The Holy Spirit living inside our hearts. Once inside of our hearts that seed either lies dormant or we grow as Christ intended for each of us to do. But that growth depends on you and me to dig deep into the word of God, to pray without ceasing and to worship continually. If we do not search for truth to be showcased in our daily living we will not and cannot grow. Only a total reliance on the Holy Spirit produces change in our lives. Apart from Christ we can do nothing, without him we accomplish nothing!!!

“Intimacy With Christ.” we cannot afford to hear Him say, “sorry I never knew you!” Your own eternity depends on it!!!

I love You!!!
