Here’s an interesting thought The Holy Spirit showed me today.
Ephesians 3:14–19 (KJV 1900): For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
We are to be strengthened by might by His Spirit. The word might in the Greek is the word dynamis it’s where we get the word dynamite; this word means power from within by the Holy Spirit. The same power Jesus used to perform miracles and to be victorious over evil. Christ dwells in our hearts by faith that we would be rooted and grounded in love. This power from within will enable us to know his love and be filled with the fullness of God. We should seek to comprehend, to understand the fullness of the love of Christ on a daily basis. Now carefully examine verse 19 “to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge.” The love of Christ exceeds, surpasses, goes beyond knowledge. So the greatest thing for you as a Christian to know first and foremost is to comprehend, to seek to know the love of Christ for you personally. His love will strengthen you in your daily circumstances, strengthen you when the storms of life beat against you and will cause your giants to fall down before you.
Intimacy With Christ,
