“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”Psalm 23:4 ESV
As Christian’s death has lost its sting, because death is just a shadow that passes over us. A shadow can hurt no one but in life when we walk through the valleys it seems like death is looming over us like a vulture. At other times the darkness of the valley of trials of life feels real enough to touch our very soul.
We should always remember that the valley is just the distance between two mountains the valley never last forever even though it seems like it. We should never fear evil for God is always with us and His truth (rod and staff) to correct us and lead us to the next mountain top. In order for His truth to lead to the next mountain top we must first learn the lesson of why we are in the valley. The valleys always reveal who we are and what we are lacking in truth when we learn the truth that God reveals to us, then we move to the mountain top.
In reality the valleys are always dark true grow always takes place in the valley.
