John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
God so loved the world that he gave up his son to die on the cross in payment for our sins.
Jesus also had a choice for in John 10:16–18 So there will be one flock, one shepherd. 17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.”
So at any moment Jesus could of said, nope this is too hard I’m going home but he didn’t because of his great love for us that none should perish.
So if God gave his son for us and Jesus willingly died on the cross for our sins, then he will do ANYTHING to help us on our journey in getting to know him and knowing what our purpose is in this life. To learn more about him for the word Eternal life means a quality of living that we experience with the learning of each new truth about him.
To tell others of his great love and plan of salvation.
